Prayer from Romans 16:1-2

“16 I commend to you our sister Phoebe, a servant of the church at Cenchreae, ² that you may welcome her in the Lord in a way worthy of the saints, and help her in whatever she may need from you, for she has been a patron of many and of myself as well.” Romans 16:1-2, ESV

Here are some things to pray from today’s sermon:

Verse 1:

• Help me treat everyone with equal dignity and respect
• Show me ways to better and more faithfully serve the church

Verse 2:

• Make me an active, welcoming person to other believers
• Change me to be so much like Jesus that it’s obvious to others that I love the Lord- in my actions, words and online presence
• Show me how to give every part of my life for the mission of the gospel
• Give me wisdom in how to use my money and resources well for Your glory
• Make me bold and faithful
• Bring me, my kids and my family godly, faithful friends who will stand beside me no matter what
• Show me how to be that kind of friend to others and who I can befriend
