Prayer from Romans 15:30-33

30 I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, 31 that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints, 32 so that by God’s will I may come to you with joy and be refreshed in your company. 33 May the God of peace be with you all. Amen.” -Romans 15:30-33, ESV

Here are some things to pray about from the passage Pastor Clint preached from this morning:

Verse 30:

  • Let me see my need for help from You
  • Thank you that Jesus died for me and enabled me to have access to you through prayer
  • Thank you for your spirit, who helps me pray
  • Make me a person of prayer, doing the hard work to strive for others
  • Make me trustworthy, avoiding gossip and slander
  • Help me be humble, honest and open about my struggles and burdens so that other believers can pray for me

Verse 31:

  • Protect myself, my kids, my family and all believers around the world
  • Help me to persevere in prayer and seek tangible results
  • Show me how to better serve other believers

Verse 32-33:

  • Show me how to pray earnestly, while I submit to your will
  • Make me rejoice when others flourish
  • Make me refreshing to others
  • Enable me to be a peacemaker like You are
  • Thank you for the eternal peace I have as a believer
